Ingredients
  • 200 gram Zucchini
  • 200 gram All-purpose flour
  • 50 gram Cocoa powder
  • 2 teaspoon Baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon Salt
  • 2 unit Eggs
  • 200 gram Sugar
  • 1/2 cup Vegetable oil
  • 2 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 100 gram Semi-sweet chocolate chips
Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9-inch round cake pan.
  2. Grate the zucchini and squeeze out any excess moisture using a clean kitchen towel.
  3. In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.
  4. In another bowl, beat the eggs and sugar until light and fluffy. Add the vegetable oil and vanilla extract, and mix well.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined. Fold in the grated zucchini and chocolate chips.
  6. Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan and smooth the top.
  7. Bake for 35-40 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  8. Remove from the oven and let the cake cool in the pan for 10 minutes. Then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
  9. Once cooled, you can dust the cake with powdered sugar or frost with your favorite frosting, if desired.
