Ingredients
  • 1.5 pound Turkey Breast
  • 1 cup Carrots
  • 1 cup Frozen Peas
  • 1 medium Onion
  • 2 clove Garlic
  • 2 tablespoon Butter
  • 0.25 cup Flour
  • 1.5 cup Chicken Broth
  • 1 cup Milk
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon Black Pepper
  • 0.5 teaspoon Paprika
  • 1 package Pie Crust
Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the onion and garlic, and cook until softened.
  3. Add the turkey breast and cook until browned. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, add the carrots and peas. Cook for 5 minutes.
  5. Sprinkle the flour over the vegetables and stir well.
  6. Gradually add the chicken broth and milk, stirring constantly until the mixture thickens.
  7. Season with salt, black pepper, and paprika.
  8. Return the turkey to the skillet and mix well.
  9. Transfer the mixture to a 9-inch pie dish.
  10. Roll out the pie crust and place it over the filling. Cut slits in the crust to allow steam to escape.
  11. Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown.
  12. Let the pot pie rest for 10 minutes before serving.
