  1. Preheat the oven to 325°F (165°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, sift together the cake flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together the vegetable oil, yuzu juice, yuzu zest, and egg yolks.
  4. Gradually add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients, mixing until well combined.
  5. In another bowl, beat the egg whites and cream of tartar until foamy. Gradually add the sugar and continue beating until stiff peaks form.
  6. Gently fold the egg white mixture into the batter until no streaks remain.
  7. Pour the batter into an ungreased tube pan and smooth the top.
  8. Bake for 35-40 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  9. Remove from the oven and invert the pan onto a cooling rack. Let it cool completely.
  10. Once cooled, run a knife around the edges of the pan to release the cake.
