Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).

In a mixing bowl, combine the sweetened shredded coconut, chopped pecans, and semi-sweet chocolate chips.

In a saucepan, heat the evaporated milk, granulated sugar, butter, and egg yolks over medium heat. Stir constantly until the mixture thickens.

Remove the saucepan from heat and stir in the vanilla extract.

Pour the mixture over the coconut, pecans, and chocolate chips. Mix well.

Pour the mixture into the pie crust.

Bake in the preheated oven for 30 minutes.

Remove from the oven and let it cool for 2 hours.
