Drop spoonfuls of batter onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.

In a separate bowl, beat together the cream cheese, powdered sugar, heavy cream, and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy.

Spread the cream cheese filling onto the flat side of half the cakes. Top with the remaining cakes to make sandwiches.
