Ingredients
  • 2.5 cup All-purpose flour
  • 2 teaspoon Baking powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 cup Unsalted butter
  • 2 cup Granulated sugar
  • 1 cup Egg whites
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 1.25 cup Whole milk
Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour two 9-inch round cake pans.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In a large bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in the egg whites one at a time, then stir in the vanilla extract.
  4. Add the flour mixture alternately with the milk, beginning and ending with the flour mixture. Pour the batter into the prepared pans.
  5. Bake for 25 to 30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the cakes comes out clean. Allow the cakes to cool in the pans for 10 minutes, then remove from the pans and cool completely on wire racks.
  6. Once the cakes are cooled, frost with your favorite frosting and enjoy!
