  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F). Grease and flour a cake pan.
  2. Melt the white chocolate and butter in a heatproof bowl over simmering water, stirring until smooth. Remove from heat and let it cool slightly.
  3. In a separate bowl, beat the eggs and sugar until light and fluffy.
  4. Add the melted chocolate mixture to the egg mixture and mix well.
  5. In another bowl, sift together the flour, baking powder, and salt. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the chocolate mixture, alternating with the milk.
  6. Gently fold in the raspberries.
  7. Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan and smooth the top.
  8. Bake for 35-40 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  9. Remove from the oven and let it cool in the pan for 10 minutes. Then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
  10. Once cooled, spread whipped cream over the top of the cake and sprinkle with white chocolate shavings.
