Ingredients
  • 250 gram White chocolate
  • 250 gram Unsalted butter
  • 300 gram Caster sugar
  • 4 quantity Eggs
  • 180 gram All-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon Baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 240 milliliter Milk
  • 200 gram Heavy cream
  • 50 gram Powdered sugar
Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F) and grease a round cake pan.
  2. Melt the white chocolate and butter in a heatproof bowl over simmering water, stirring until smooth. Remove it from heat and set aside to cool.
  3. In a separate bowl, beat the eggs and caster sugar together until light and fluffy.
  4. Add the cooled white chocolate mixture to the egg mixture and mix until well combined.
  5. Sift in the flour, baking powder, and salt. Mix until just combined.
  6. Stir in the vanilla extract and milk.
  7. Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan and smooth the top.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for 40 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  9. Allow the cake to cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer it to a wire rack to cool completely.
  10. To make the frosting, whip the heavy cream and powdered sugar together until stiff peaks form.
  11. Once the cake is completely cooled, frost it with the whipped cream frosting.
  12. Serve and enjoy!
