Ingredients
  • 8 ounce White chocolate
  • 1 cup Butter
  • 1 cup Granulated sugar
  • 4 unit Eggs
  • 2 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 2 cup All-purpose flour
  • 2 teaspoon Baking powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 cup Milk
  • 1 cup Fresh cranberries
  • 0.5 cup Orange juice
  • 1 cup Powdered sugar
Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour two 9-inch round cake pans.
  2. Melt the white chocolate and butter in a heatproof bowl over simmering water. Stir until smooth and let it cool.
  3. In a large bowl, beat sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract until light and fluffy. Gradually add the melted white chocolate mixture.
  4. In a separate bowl, combine flour, baking powder, and salt. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, alternating with milk.
  5. Divide the batter evenly between the prepared pans. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  6. In a saucepan, combine cranberries, orange juice, and powdered sugar. Cook over medium heat until cranberries burst and mixture thickens. Let it cool.
  7. Once the cakes are cooled, spread the cranberry filling on top of one cake layer. Place the second cake layer on top.
  8. Optional: Decorate the cake with additional white chocolate shavings or cranberries.
  9. Let the cake rest for at least 1 hour before serving to allow the flavors to meld together.
