  4. Gradually add the melted chocolate mixture to the egg mixture, mixing well.
  5. Sift in the flour and baking powder, then fold gently until combined.
  6. Stir in the milk and vanilla extract.
  7. Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan and smooth the top.
  8. Bake for 35-40 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
