Ingredients
  • 1 box Chocolate cake mix
  • 1 box Instant pistachio pudding mix
  • 1 cup Water
  • 0.5 cup Vegetable oil
  • 4 large Eggs
  • 1 cup Chopped walnuts
  • 0.5 cup Semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 package Cream cheese
  • 0.5 cup Butter
  • 2 cup Powdered sugar
  • 1 container Whipped topping
  • 1 jar Maraschino cherries
Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x13-inch baking pan.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the cake mix, pistachio pudding mix, water, vegetable oil, and eggs. Beat on medium speed until well blended.
  3. Stir in the chopped walnuts and chocolate chips.
  4. Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and smooth the top.
  5. Bake for 35-40 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  6. Remove from the oven and let it cool in the pan for 10 minutes. Then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
  7. In a separate mixing bowl, beat the cream cheese and butter until creamy. Gradually add the powdered sugar and beat until smooth.
  8. Spread the cream cheese mixture over the cooled cake.
  9. Top with whipped topping and garnish with maraschino cherries.
  10. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving.
  11. Slice and enjoy!
