Walking Dead Cake
The Walking Dead Cake was inspired by the popular TV show ‘The Walking Dead’ and is a perfect treat for Halloween parties or fans of the zombie genre.
This is non vegetarian recipe. Dish can be prepared in 130 minutes. Recipe requires some culinary experience (medium difficulty). Number of ingredients: 19.

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a round cake pan.

In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.

Add the butter, eggs, vanilla extract, and milk to the dry ingredients. Mix until well combined.

Stir in the boiling water until the batter is smooth.

Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan and bake for 35-40 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.

Allow the cake to cool completely before removing it from the pan.

In a separate bowl, beat the cream cheese, powdered sugar, and green food coloring until smooth.

Once the cake has cooled, frost it with the green cream cheese frosting.

In a small microwave-safe bowl, melt the white chocolate.

Divide the melted white chocolate into three separate bowls and add black gel food coloring to one bowl, red gel food coloring to another bowl, and leave the third bowl white.

Drizzle the colored white chocolate over the frosted cake to create a zombie blood effect.
