Ingredients
  • 1.5 cup All-purpose flour
  • 1 cup Granulated sugar
  • 0.25 cup Cocoa powder
  • 1 teaspoon Baking soda
  • 0.5 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.5 cup Vegetable oil
  • 2 teaspoon White vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 1 cup Water
Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9x9 inch baking pan.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, sift together the flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt.
  3. Make three wells in the dry ingredients. Pour the vegetable oil into one well, white vinegar into the second well, and vanilla extract into the third well.
  4. Pour water over everything and mix until smooth.
  5. Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  7. Allow the cake to cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer it to a wire rack to cool completely.
  8. Serve and enjoy!
