  • 1.5 cup Granulated sugar
  • 0.25 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.5 cup Unsalted butter
  • 2 large Eggs
  • 1 tablespoon White distilled vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 1 cup Boiling water
  • 1 tablespoon Powdered sugar
Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the all-purpose flour, granulated sugar, and salt.
  3. Cut in the unsalted butter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  4. In a separate bowl, beat the eggs, white distilled vinegar, and vanilla extract.
  5. Add the egg mixture to the dry ingredients and mix until well combined.
  6. Gradually add the boiling water and stir until the batter is smooth.
  7. Pour the batter into a prepared pie crust.
  8. Bake for 40 minutes or until the pie is set.
