Ingredients
  • 250 gram Pie crust
  • 2 cup Mixed vegetables (carrots, peas, corn, etc.)
  • 1 medium Onion
  • 2 clove Garlic cloves
  • 2 tablespoon Olive oil
  • 2 tablespoon All-purpose flour
  • 1 cup Vegetable broth
  • 1 cup Milk
  • 1 cup Cheddar cheese
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon Black pepper
Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a pan, heat olive oil and sauté the onion and garlic until translucent.
  3. Add the mixed vegetables and cook for a few minutes.
  4. Sprinkle flour over the vegetables and stir well.
  5. Gradually add vegetable broth and milk, stirring constantly until the mixture thickens.
  6. Stir in the cheddar cheese, salt, and black pepper.
  7. Roll out the pie crust and line a pie dish with it.
  8. Pour the vegetable mixture into the crust.
  9. Cover the pie with another layer of pie crust and seal the edges.
  10. Make a few slits on the top crust for steam to escape.
  11. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until the crust is golden brown.
  12. Let the pie rest for 10 minutes before serving.
