Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a cake pan.

In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, turmeric powder, baking powder, and salt.

In a separate bowl, mix together the coconut oil, maple syrup, almond milk, vanilla extract, lemon juice, and lemon zest.

Gradually add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients, stirring until well combined.

Fold in the chopped walnuts.

Pour the batter into the greased cake pan and smooth the top.

Bake for 35-40 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
