In a large bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.

In a separate bowl, mix together the unsweetened applesauce, maple syrup, melted coconut oil, vanilla extract, and almond milk.

Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix until well combined. Fold in the vegan chocolate chips.
