In a large mixing bowl, mash the ripe bananas until smooth. Add maple syrup, melted coconut oil, almond milk, and vanilla extract. Mix well.

In a separate bowl, whisk together whole wheat flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the banana mixture, stirring until just combined.
