Ingredients
  • 2 cup All-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon Baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 cup Unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 1/2 cup Granulated sugar
  • 3 Eggs
  • 2 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup Milk
Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9x5-inch loaf pan.
  2. In a medium bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, and salt. Set aside.
  3. In a large bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla extract. Gradually mix in the dry ingredients alternately with the milk.
  4. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and smooth the top with a spatula.
  5. Bake for 60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  6. Allow the cake to cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then remove from the pan and cool completely on a wire rack.
