  • 2 cup All-purpose flour
  • 1 cup Granulated sugar
  • 2 teaspoon Baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/2 cup Unsalted butter
  • 1/2 cup Milk
  • 1 Egg
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup Brown sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon Ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup Chopped pecans
Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a muffin tin.
  2. In a large bowl, combine flour, granulated sugar, baking powder, and salt. Cut in butter until mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together milk, egg, and vanilla extract. Add to the flour mixture and stir until just combined.
  4. In a small bowl, mix together brown sugar, cinnamon, and chopped pecans.
  5. Spoon batter into the prepared muffin tin, filling each cup halfway. Sprinkle the crumb mixture over the batter.
  6. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
