  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and line a 10x15-inch jelly roll pan with parchment paper.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together the cake flour, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In a large bowl, beat the eggs and granulated sugar until pale and fluffy. Stir in the vanilla extract.
  4. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the egg mixture, alternating with the milk, beginning and ending with the dry ingredients. Mix until just combined.
  5. In a small saucepan, melt the unsalted butter. Add a spoonful of the batter to the melted butter and mix well. Then, fold the butter mixture into the remaining batter.
  6. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and spread it evenly. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the cake springs back when lightly touched.
  7. While the cake is still warm, sprinkle powdered sugar over a clean kitchen towel. Invert the cake onto the towel and carefully remove the parchment paper. Starting from one of the short ends, roll the cake up tightly in the towel. Let it cool completely.
  8. Once the cake has cooled, carefully unroll it and spread the whipped cream evenly over the surface. Roll the cake back up, without the towel, and place it on a serving platter.
  9. Garnish with fresh berries and dust with powdered sugar, if desired. Slice and serve.
