  • 2 cup Apples
  • 1.5 cup All-purpose flour
  • 1 cup Granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Baking powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.5 cup Unsalted butter
  • 0.5 cup Milk
  • 2 large Eggs
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 0.5 cup Brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Cinnamon
Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a round cake pan.
  2. Peel and slice the apples. Arrange them in the bottom of the cake pan.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine flour, granulated sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  4. Add butter, milk, eggs, and vanilla extract to the dry ingredients. Mix until well combined.
  5. Pour the batter over the sliced apples in the cake pan.
  6. In a small bowl, mix brown sugar and cinnamon. Sprinkle this mixture over the batter.
  7. Bake for 30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  8. Allow the cake to cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then invert it onto a serving plate.
