Ingredients
  • 1.5 cup All-purpose flour
  • 1 cup Granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Baking powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.5 cup Vegetable oil
  • 1 Egg
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 0.75 cup Whole milk
  • 1 cup Heavy cream
  • 0.5 cup Powdered sugar
  • 1 cup Marshmallow creme
  • 0.25 cup Butter
  • 5 drop Yellow food coloring
Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a cake pan.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  3. Add vegetable oil, egg, vanilla extract, and milk. Mix until well combined.
  4. Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan and smooth the top.
  5. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  6. Remove the cake from the oven and let it cool completely.
  7. In a separate bowl, whip the heavy cream until stiff peaks form. Gradually add powdered sugar and continue whipping.
  8. In another bowl, beat the marshmallow creme and butter until light and fluffy.
  9. Fold the whipped cream into the marshmallow mixture.
  10. Add yellow food coloring and mix until well incorporated.
  11. Cut the cooled cake in half horizontally. Spread the cream filling on the bottom half.
  12. Place the top half of the cake on the filling and press gently.
  13. Let the cake rest in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour before serving.
  14. Slice and enjoy!
