In a large bowl, combine the canned pumpkin, evaporated milk, eggs, granulated sugar, ground cinnamon, ground ginger, ground nutmeg, and salt. Mix well.

Roll out the pie crust and place it in a 9-inch pie dish. Trim the edges.

Pour the pumpkin mixture into the pie crust.

Bake in the preheated oven for 15 minutes. Then, reduce the oven temperature to 350°F (175°C) and continue baking for 40-45 minutes, or until the filling is set.

Remove the pie from the oven and let it cool for 2 hours.

Sprinkle the chopped pecans on top of the pie.

Drizzle caramel sauce over the pecans.
