Shepherd’s Pie traditionally uses lamb, but this recipe substitutes it with turkey for a twist on the classic dish.

Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).

In a large skillet, cook the ground turkey over medium heat until browned. Remove from the skillet and set aside.

In the same skillet, add the onion, carrots, peas, and garlic. Cook until the vegetables are tender.

Add the cooked ground turkey back to the skillet. Stir in the Worcestershire sauce, tomato paste, and chicken broth. Simmer for 5 minutes.

In a separate pot, boil the potatoes until tender. Drain and mash with butter, milk, salt, black pepper, and paprika.

Transfer the turkey mixture to a baking dish. Top with the mashed potatoes.

Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the potatoes are golden brown.

Let it rest for 10 minutes before serving.
