Ingredients
  • 500 gram Turkey Breast
  • 8 ounce Pie Crust
  • 1 cup Onion
  • 1 cup Celery
  • 1 cup Carrot
  • 2 clove Garlic
  • 2 tablespoon Olive Oil
  • 1 teaspoon Dried Thyme
  • 1 teaspoon Dried Sage
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Black Pepper
  • 1 unit Egg
Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large pan, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add onion, celery, carrot, and garlic. Cook until vegetables are softened.
  3. Add the turkey breast and cook until browned. Season with thyme, sage, salt, and black pepper.
  4. Roll out the pie crust and cut into circles.
  5. Place a spoonful of the turkey mixture onto each circle of pie crust. Fold over and seal the edges.
  6. Place the pocket pies on a baking sheet. Brush with beaten egg.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown.
  8. Allow the pocket pies to rest for 5 minutes before serving.
