Ingredients
  • 2 cup Pie Crust
  • 2 cup Cooked Turkey (or Chicken)
  • 1 cup Frozen Mixed Vegetables
  • 2 tablespoon Butter
  • 1 medium Onion
  • 2 tablespoon All-Purpose Flour
  • 1.5 cup Chicken Broth
  • 0.5 cup Milk
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon Black Pepper
  • 0.5 teaspoon Dried Thyme
Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the onion and cook until softened.
  3. Stir in the flour and cook for 1 minute. Gradually whisk in the chicken broth and milk.
  4. Add the cooked turkey (or chicken), frozen mixed vegetables, salt, black pepper, and dried thyme. Cook until heated through.
  5. Roll out one pie crust and place it in a pie dish. Pour the filling into the crust.
  6. Roll out the second pie crust and place it on top of the filling. Seal the edges and cut slits on the top crust.
  7. Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown.
  8. Let the pot pie rest for 10 minutes before serving.
