Ingredients
  • 1 box Chocolate cake mix
  • 1 box Instant chocolate pudding mix
  • 2 cup Milk
  • 1 cup Sour cream
  • 1/2 cup Vegetable oil
  • 4 large Eggs
  • 1 cup Semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 container Whipped topping
  • 1/2 cup Chocolate syrup
  • optional for garnish Chocolate shavings
Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9x13-inch baking dish.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the chocolate cake mix, instant chocolate pudding mix, milk, sour cream, vegetable oil, and eggs. Mix until well combined.
  3. Stir in the chocolate chips.
  4. Pour the batter into the prepared baking dish and smooth the top.
  5. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  6. Remove the cake from the oven and let it cool completely.
  7. Once the cake is cooled, use the handle of a wooden spoon to poke holes all over the cake.
  8. Pour the chocolate syrup over the cake, making sure it fills the holes.
  9. Spread the whipped topping evenly over the cake.
  10. Garnish with chocolate shavings, if desired.
  11. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving.
  12. Serve chilled and enjoy!
