  3. Add the onion, carrots, peas, beef stock, Worcestershire sauce, tomato paste, and garlic to the skillet. Cook for 5-7 minutes until the vegetables are tender.
  4. Meanwhile, peel and dice the potatoes. Place them in a large pot of salted water and bring to a boil. Cook until tender, then drain and return to the pot.
  5. Mash the potatoes with butter, milk, salt, and pepper until smooth and creamy.
  6. Transfer the beef mixture to a baking dish and spread the mashed potatoes on top. Use a fork to create decorative patterns on the surface.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, until the pie is golden brown and bubbling.
