Ingredients
  • 500 gram Apples
  • 200 gram Plain flour
  • 150 gram Butter
  • 150 gram Brown sugar
  • 4 teaspoon Toffee sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon Baking powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon Salt
  • 2 unit Eggs
  • 1 cup Milk
Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
  2. Peel and slice the apples.
  3. In a large bowl, mix the flour, butter, and brown sugar until crumbly.
  4. Take half of the crumble mixture and press it into the bottom of a greased cake tin.
  5. Layer the sliced apples on top of the crumble base.
  6. Drizzle the toffee sauce over the apples.
  7. In another bowl, mix the remaining crumble mixture with cinnamon, baking powder, salt, eggs, and milk.
  8. Pour the crumble batter over the apples.
  9. Bake in the preheated oven for 40 minutes or until golden brown.
  10. Allow the cake to cool for 30 minutes before serving.
  11. Serve warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream, if desired.
