  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
  2. Melt the dark chocolate, milk chocolate, and white chocolate separately in a double boiler.
  3. In a mixing bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  4. Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.
  5. Gradually add the melted chocolates to the butter mixture, mixing well.
  6. Sift in the flour and baking powder, and fold gently until just combined.
  7. Stir in the vanilla extract.
  8. Pour the batter into a greased and lined cake tin.
  9. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  10. Remove from the oven and let it cool in the tin for 10 minutes.
  11. Transfer the cake to a wire rack and let it cool completely.
  12. Once cooled, spread whipped cream over the top and sides of the cake.
  13. Sprinkle chocolate shavings on top.
