Shepherd’s Pie is traditionally made with lamb, but this recipe uses ground turkey as a leaner alternative.

Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).

In a large skillet, cook the ground turkey until browned. Remove from heat and set aside.

Steam the cauliflower until tender. Drain and mash with a potato masher until smooth. Set aside.

Boil the potatoes until tender. Drain and mash with butter until smooth. Set aside.

In the same skillet used for the turkey, sauté the onion, carrots, and peas until tender.

Add the cooked turkey back to the skillet and stir in the beef broth and Worcestershire sauce. Season with salt and black pepper.

Transfer the turkey mixture to a baking dish and spread the mashed cauliflower on top.

Top with the mashed potatoes, spreading evenly.

Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the top is golden brown.
