Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).

In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add chopped onion and minced garlic, and cook until softened.

Add diced chicken to the skillet and cook until browned.

Stir in flour and cook for 1 minute.

Gradually add chicken broth and milk, stirring constantly until the mixture thickens.

Add carrots, peas, potatoes, salt, and black pepper. Cook for 5 minutes.

Transfer the mixture to a baking dish.

Roll out the puff pastry and place it over the baking dish, trimming any excess pastry.

Cut a few slits in the pastry to allow steam to escape.

Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until the pastry is golden brown and the filling is bubbling.
