Ingredients
  • 1.5 cup Sweet potatoes
  • 2 cup All-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon Baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/2 cup Unsalted butter
  • 1/2 cup Milk
  • 2 tablespoon Honey
Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine the mashed sweet potatoes, flour, baking powder, and salt.
  3. Cut in the butter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  4. Stir in the milk and honey until just combined.
  5. Turn the dough out onto a lightly floured surface and knead gently a few times.
  6. Roll out the dough to 1/2-inch (3 cm) thickness and cut into biscuits using a round biscuit cutter.
  7. Place the biscuits on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  8. Bake for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown.
