Ingredients
  • 4 piece Ripe plantains
  • 1 cup All-purpose flour
  • 1 cup Granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup Unsalted butter
  • 2 large Eggs
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon Baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon Cinnamon powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon Nutmeg powder
  • 1/4 cup Milk
Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Peel and mash the ripe plantains in a large bowl.
  3. In a separate bowl, mix together the all-purpose flour, granulated sugar, baking powder, salt, cinnamon powder, and nutmeg powder.
  4. In another bowl, beat the eggs and then add them to the mashed plantains.
  5. Melt the unsalted butter and add it to the plantain mixture along with the vanilla extract.
  6. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the plantain mixture, alternating with the milk. Mix until well combined.
  7. Pour the batter into a greased pie dish and smooth the top.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for 40 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  9. Remove from the oven and let it rest for 30 minutes before serving.
  10. Serve warm or chilled.
