Ingredients
  • 12 ounce Sweet Italian sausage
  • 1 sheet Pie crust
  • 1 medium Onion
  • 2 clove Garlic cloves
  • 1 medium Red bell pepper
  • 1 medium Green bell pepper
  • 4 large Eggs
  • 1 cup Milk
  • 1 cup Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon Dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon Dried basil
Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a skillet, cook the sweet Italian sausage over medium heat until browned. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, sauté the onion, garlic, red bell pepper, and green bell pepper until softened.
  4. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, Parmesan cheese, salt, black pepper, dried oregano, and dried basil.
  5. Roll out the pie crust and press it into a pie dish.
  6. Spread the cooked sausage and sautéed vegetables evenly over the pie crust.
  7. Pour the egg mixture over the sausage and vegetables.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for 40-45 minutes, or until the filling is set and the crust is golden brown.
  9. Let the pie rest for 10 minutes before serving.
  10. Slice and serve warm.
