Super Simple Shepherd’s Pie
Shepherd’s pie is traditionally made with lamb, but this version uses ground beef instead.

Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).

In a large skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain any excess fat.

Add the onion, carrots, and frozen peas to the skillet. Cook for 5 minutes, or until the vegetables are tender.

Stir in the beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Simmer for 5 minutes.

Transfer the beef mixture to a 9x13-inch baking dish.

In a separate bowl, mix together the mashed potatoes, butter, and milk until smooth.

Spread the mashed potatoes evenly over the beef mixture in the baking dish.

Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the mashed potatoes are lightly golden.

Let the shepherd's pie rest for 10 minutes before serving.
