In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the diced onion and minced garlic, and cook until softened.

Add the chicken breast, season with salt and black pepper, and cook until browned.

Sprinkle the flour over the chicken and vegetables, and stir well to coat.

Gradually pour in the chicken broth and milk, stirring constantly until the mixture thickens.

Stir in the frozen mixed vegetables and cook for another 5 minutes.

Transfer the filling to a baking dish.

Roll out the puff pastry and place it over the filling, trimming any excess.

Cut a few slits in the pastry to allow steam to escape.

Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the pastry is golden brown and the filling is bubbly.
