Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).

In a bowl, mix semolina (suji) and almond powder.

In a separate bowl, cream the butter, sugar, and vanilla extract. Gradually add eggs and mix well.

Add the semolina-almond mixture to the butter-sugar mixture and mix well.

Dissolve baking powder in milk and add it to the batter. Mix until well combined.

Grease a cake tin and pour the batter into it.

Bake for 40-45 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.

Remove from the oven and let it cool for 30 minutes.
