  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
  2. Melt the white chocolate and butter together in a heatproof bowl over simmering water.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together the sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract until well combined.
  4. Gradually add the melted chocolate mixture to the sugar mixture, stirring continuously.
  5. In another bowl, sift together the flour, baking powder, and salt.
  6. Fold the dry ingredients into the chocolate mixture until just combined.
  7. Pour the batter into a greased and lined square baking pan.
  8. Dollop spoonfuls of plum jam on top of the batter and swirl it gently with a knife.
  9. Bake for 25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
