Ingredients
  • 1 crust Pie crust
  • 1 cup Granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup All-purpose flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon Salt
  • 2 cup Whole milk
  • 1 cup Heavy cream
  • 2 tablespoon Unsalted butter
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon Ground nutmeg
Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a medium saucepan, combine granulated sugar, flour, and salt.
  3. Gradually stir in milk and cream.
  4. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until the mixture thickens and comes to a boil.
  5. Remove from heat and stir in butter, vanilla extract, and nutmeg.
  6. Pour the filling into the pie crust.
  7. Bake for 35-40 minutes, or until the center is set.
  8. Remove from the oven and let it cool for at least 2 hours before serving.
  9. Serve chilled or at room temperature.
