Ingredients
  • 3 cup All-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup Granulated sugar
  • 1 packet Active dry yeast
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt
  • 4 tablespoon Unsalted butter
  • 1 large Egg
  • 1/2 cup Milk
  • 2 medium Apples
  • 1 teaspoon Cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup Brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup Powdered sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon Vanilla extract
Instructions
  1. In a large bowl, combine flour, granulated sugar, yeast, and salt.
  2. Melt butter and add it to the dry ingredients along with the egg and milk.
  3. Mix until a dough forms, then knead for 5 minutes until smooth and elastic.
  4. Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover with a damp cloth, and let it rise for 1 hour.
  5. Meanwhile, peel and chop the apples, then toss them with cinnamon and brown sugar.
  6. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  7. Punch down the dough and divide it into 12 equal pieces.
  8. Flatten each piece into a circle, place a spoonful of apple mixture in the center, and fold the edges over to seal.
  9. Arrange the buns on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and let them rest for 15 minutes.
  10. Bake for 18-20 minutes until golden brown.
  11. In a small bowl, whisk powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla extract to make the glaze.
  12. Drizzle the glaze over the warm buns.
