Ingredients
  • 250 gram All-Purpose Flour
  • 8 teaspoon Golden Syrup
  • 2 tablespoon Vegetable Oil
  • 400 gram Lotus Seed Paste
  • 6 piece Salted Egg Yolks
  • 30 gram Melon Seeds
  • 1 beaten Egg Egg Wash
Instructions
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine all-purpose flour, golden syrup, and vegetable oil. Knead until a smooth dough forms.
  2. Divide the dough into small, equal-sized portions. Roll each portion into a ball.
  3. Flatten each dough ball and place a portion of lotus seed paste and a salted egg yolk in the center. Seal the dough and shape it into a round cake.
  4. Place the cakes on a baking tray, brush them with egg wash, and sprinkle melon seeds on top.
  5. Bake the moon cakes in a preheated oven at 180°C for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown.
  6. Remove the moon cakes from the oven and let them cool for 10 minutes.
  7. Serve the Su Shi White Moon Cakes and enjoy!
