  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x13-inch baking pan.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the white cake mix, water, vegetable oil, and eggs. Beat until well combined.
  3. Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and smooth the top.
  4. Bake for 25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  5. While the cake is still warm, use the handle of a wooden spoon to poke holes all over the cake.
  6. In a separate bowl, dissolve the strawberry Jell-O in boiling water. Stir in the cold water.
  7. Slowly pour the Jell-O mixture over the warm cake, making sure to fill the holes.
  8. Refrigerate the cake for at least 2 hours or until the Jell-O is set.
  9. Once the cake is chilled, spread whipped topping over the top.
  10. Garnish with fresh strawberries.
  11. Slice and serve.
