  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the cake flour, granulated sugar, baking powder, and salt. Add the unsalted butter and mix until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together the milk, vanilla extract, and eggs. Gradually add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients, mixing well after each addition.
