Strawberry and Summer Fruit Pie
Strawberries are not actually berries but rather an aggregate fruit, as they are formed from multiple ovaries of a single flower.

Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).

Roll out the pie crust and place it in a pie dish.

In a large bowl, combine the strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, blackberries, sugar, cornstarch, lemon juice, and vanilla extract. Mix well.

Pour the fruit mixture into the pie crust.

Roll out the remaining pie crust and cut it into strips.

Create a lattice pattern on top of the pie by weaving the strips over the fruit.

Brush the lattice crust with the beaten egg.

Bake in the preheated oven for 35-40 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown.

Remove from the oven and let it rest for 2 hours.

Serve the pie with a drizzle of milk on top.
