  5. Gradually add the flour mixture to the egg mixture, folding gently until well combined.
  6. Spread the batter evenly onto the prepared baking sheet.

  8. While the cake is still warm, carefully roll it up with the parchment paper, starting from one of the short ends.

  11. Unroll the cake and spread the filling evenly over the surface.
  12. Place the sliced strawberries on top of the filling.
  13. Gently roll the cake back up, without the parchment paper.
  14. Sprinkle the sliced almonds on top.
  15. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour before serving.
