Soak the rice cakes in warm water for 10 minutes.

In a small bowl, mix together gochujang, soy sauce, and sugar.

Heat vegetable oil in a large pan or wok over medium heat.

Add minced garlic and sliced onion to the pan and stir-fry for 2 minutes.

Add sliced carrot and cabbage to the pan and stir-fry for another 3 minutes.

Drain the rice cakes and add them to the pan.

Pour the sauce mixture over the rice cakes and vegetables.

Stir-fry everything together for 5 minutes or until the rice cakes are soft and coated in the sauce.
