Ingredients
  • 500 gram Spinach
  • 200 gram Feta cheese
  • 4 unit Eggs
  • 1 unit Onion
  • 2 clove Garlic
  • 2 tablespoon Olive oil
  • 6 sheet Phyllo pastry sheets
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Pepper
Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
  2. In a pan, heat olive oil and sauté the chopped onion and minced garlic until golden brown.
  3. Add the spinach and cook until wilted. Remove from heat and let it cool.
  4. In a bowl, beat the eggs and crumble the feta cheese. Add salt and pepper to taste.
  5. Mix the spinach mixture with the egg and cheese mixture.
  6. Grease a baking dish and layer the phyllo pastry sheets, brushing each sheet with olive oil.
  7. Pour the spinach mixture onto the phyllo pastry layers.
  8. Fold the excess phyllo pastry over the top and brush with olive oil.
  9. Bake in the preheated oven for 40 minutes or until golden brown.
  10. Let it rest for 10 minutes before serving.
