  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add chopped onion and minced garlic, and sauté until translucent.
  3. Add frozen spinach to the skillet and cook until heated through. Remove from heat and let cool.
  4. In a medium bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, salt, and pepper.
  5. Crumble feta cheese into the egg mixture and mix well.
  6. Add the cooled spinach mixture to the egg and cheese mixture and stir until well combined.
  7. Grease a baking dish with butter.
  8. Layer 4 sheets of phyllo dough in the bottom of the baking dish, brushing each sheet with melted butter.
  9. Pour the spinach and cheese mixture over the phyllo dough.
  10. Layer the remaining 4 sheets of phyllo dough on top, brushing each sheet with melted butter.
  11. Bake in the preheated oven for 40 minutes, or until the top is golden brown.
  12. Remove from the oven and let rest for 10 minutes before serving.
